Improving Outcomes in Peripheral Bypass: The Role of TTFM & Imaging

Up to 20% of peripheral bypasses fail without a clear cause, and there's still no standard for completion control. While some hospitals use transit time flow measurement (TTFM) and high-frequency ultrasound imaging (HFUS), clinical documentation is limited.

In this course, you will hear from the lead investigator of the newly started international PATENT study, Professor Michael S. Conte. The PATENT study was designed to establish evidence-based protocols and reduce graft failure in CLTI patients. You’ll also gain real-world insights from seasoned vascular surgeon, Katariina Noronen, MD, using Medistim technology to improve outcomes in daily practice. Additionally, you'll hear from Cecilia Fenelli, MD regarding a clinical in-situ bypass case recently performed at the Azienda USL Toscana Centro in Florence, Italy.
